This page explains how to delete your account in Pepello, the app by OpenSkye Labs, and the data that goes with it. You don’t need an account to use Pepello; if you never signed in, there is no account to delete and everything is on your phone.
In the app
- Open Pepello and go to Profile.
- Under Account, tap Delete account.
- Confirm. If you signed in with Apple, Apple asks you to confirm once more.
Your account is deleted at once, and Pepello asks Apple or Google to revoke its access.
Delete the data on your phone too
Deleting your account doesn’t touch the log on your phone. To erase it, go to Profile › Delete all my data and type DELETE to confirm, or delete the app.
Without the app
Email privacy@openskyelabs.xyz from the email address on your account, with the subject “Delete my Pepello account”. If you used Apple’s Hide My Email, send it from the address that relay forwards to and tell us you signed in with Apple. We may ask you to confirm it’s you, and we delete the account within 30 days and email you when it’s done.
What is deleted
| Data | What happens |
|---|---|
| Email address, sign-in provider and account ID | Deleted |
| Sign-in and session tokens | Deleted; Apple and Google access revoked |
| Anything else stored with the account | Deleted |
| Your log, settings and photos on your phone | Kept on your phone until you delete them (see above) |
| AI conversations | Never stored by us, so nothing to delete |
| Crash reports, if you turned them on | Not linked to your account; deleted automatically by PostHog after its retention period |
| Usage statistics, if you turned them on | Not linked to your account; deleted automatically by PostHog after its retention period |
We keep nothing else once your account is deleted, unless the law requires us to.
